Use approved merchant credentials
Enable only the processors the business intends to use. Each enabled processor displays its configuration, while disabled processors remain unavailable for new checkout sessions.
Setup sequence
- Complete merchant underwriting and obtain the correct account type.
- Choose sandbox or production.
- Enter the required API credentials in the protected administrator settings.
- Register the displayed HTTPS webhook or callback URL.
- Run the built-in connection test when available.
- Complete an end-to-end sandbox payment, refund, void, and entitlement test.
Credential safety
Do not place API keys in page content, themes, screenshots, tickets, or browser JavaScript. Transaction Keys and Signature Keys have different purposes and are not interchangeable.
